At BCS Junk Removal, we take your privacy seriously. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit bcsjunkremoval.com or request a quote from us.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you request a quote, fill out a contact form, or communicate with us.

When you send a quote request through our website, we collect:

  • Your name (required)
  • Your email address (required)
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • Your project details – whatever you tell us about the junk you need hauled or the dumpster you need (required)
  • Which page or form you used, so we know where the request came from

Our website also handles some technical information automatically, described in the sections below: your IP address (used for spam and security checks), and general information about how you use the site (collected by Google Analytics).

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, and to communicate with you. In practice, that means using your quote request to contact you by phone or email about your junk removal, dumpster rental, or live load job.

How Quote Requests Are Handled

When you press Send on a quote form:

  1. Your request goes to our website's server, which is hosted by Cloudflare.
  2. After passing the spam and security checks below, your name, email, phone number, project details, and the form you used are sent to a Google Apps Script that we run in our Google account.
  3. That script adds your request as a row in a Google Sheet that our team uses to keep track of quote requests, along with the date and time it arrived.
  4. It also emails your request to our team at bcsjunkremoval@gmail.com. When we reply to that email, the reply goes to the email address you entered.

Spam & Security Checks

To keep spam out of our inbox, our quote forms use a few checks:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile. Our forms include a security check from Cloudflare. When you submit a form, the check result and your IP address are sent to Cloudflare to confirm the request came from a real person.
  • Rate limiting. Our server briefly uses your IP address to limit how many requests can be sent in a short period. This count is kept only in the server's temporary memory.
  • Automated spam filtering. Our server checks submissions for signs of spam, such as hidden fields filled in by bots, forms sent too quickly, or common spam phrases.

If a submission is rejected, our server records only the reason it was rejected. It does not record your name, email, or message in that log.

Website Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a service from Google, to understand how people use our website. Google Analytics measures the pages you visit, and we also record when someone:

  • successfully sends a quote request form,
  • taps or clicks one of our phone number links, or
  • clicks one of our main call-to-action buttons.

These events tell us that the action happened. They do not send the contents of your quote request to Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies in your browser to do this measurement.

Service Providers We Use

Our website relies on these outside services:

  • Cloudflare – hosts our website and runs the Turnstile security check on our forms.
  • Google – Google Apps Script, Google Sheets, and Gmail receive and store quote requests; Google Analytics measures website use; and Google Fonts supplies the typeface used on our pages, which your browser loads from Google's servers.

Our website sends your information only to the service providers listed above, so they can host the site, check for spam, measure site use, and deliver your quote request to our team.

Your Analytics Choices

Our site does not show a cookie banner. Google Analytics loads when you visit our pages.

If you do not want Google Analytics to measure your visits, you can install Google's browser add-on for opting out of Google Analytics (opens in a new tab). You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Calling or Emailing Us

If you call us or email us directly instead of using a form, we receive the information you share in that call or email and use it to answer your question or schedule your job.

Children

Our website is meant for adults arranging junk removal and dumpster services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
